Learning with Mukti over the years has been a sweet journey of expansion, service and love. The passion for his work radiates out of his heart and mind. I am ever grateful for the philosophy and the technique that I learned and would recommend his courses to anyone from here to Thailand.

Mukti Thai Yoga Vedic class is such a gift to my practise as a massage therapist and yogis. I've been able to apply technique with clients to get profound results.

I also have opened up areas in my own body that traditional massage wasn't addressing.

Mukti is a gifted teacher & has a kindness &awareness with the body that is beyond words.

-Amy Shine; Host and Yoga Instructor

Mutki Thai Yoga Vedic class is such a gift to my practise as a Mukti is an amazing teacher and his trainings are something that every yoga teacher should do even if they do not want to have a private Vedic Thai practice. His adjustments are incredible and his knowledge is beyond many trainers. The trainings with him blink by with the fun and spiritually changing atmosphere he creates. I have had hundreds of trainings in my 16 years of teaching yoga and Mukti by far was my favorite!

- Alyssa Lappostato; Owner/Director

I had no idea what to expect in the Thai Massage Workshop because I had never seen it or experienced it before. Under the careful and knowledgeable guidance of David and Leah, we as a group learned this modality both by practicing and receiving it. The Thai massage literally changed my body. The different methods performed both by me and upon me changed the way my blood flows. I have always had difficulty throughout my life with limbs "falling asleep". To counteract this, I would do something aerobic like running which worked for a day or so. I could really feel changes during the massage. Afterwards, I noticed immediately how my blood circulation transformed. My hands were not "falling asleep" and neither was any other part of my body when they normally would! I could also feel a rise in my kundalini energy or chi. I work many different jobs and am ordinarily worn out by the middle of the week. My energy was so strong that not only did I make it through the week with energy, I was able to work on my own projects at home every night that week in addition to my normal crazy work day. David and Leah are very kind, sincere teachers. They are both very careful with the manner in which they teach this ancient method and also very attentive and instructive. I feel confident in the moves and that I am doing them correctly while keeping the person I am performing this method upon comfortable. And we had fun during every bit of it! This weekend changed me. I am on FIRE!

You will not only learn some of the most authentic Thai Massage sequencing with him, you will also leave with empowerment skills , self care and an intriguing perspective on universal cosmic truth .  Mukti is a gift to the Thai Massage community.

Mukti is the best teacher for Thai body work in Miami, his knowledge his energy and his experience make the course amazing fun and interesting. Right after I finished that weekend course I was so motivated to start practicing and continue following his steps. I also had the opportunity to have him in private sessions and it helped me even more to understand things and get a more clear understanding of this art. Magic hands go try it all with Mukti.

“Physician heal thyself.” This was the proverb that Mukti unknowingly burned into my brain upon my first training with him years ago. I remember it being in his manuals, and him speaking to our group about it was beautiful to me. I’m a chef, and at this first training the only reason I was there was because of an invite from my aunt. I also did a little yoga.I had no clue that it would be the beginning of a whole new world opened to me of Vedic-Thai bodywork. I was the youngest of my group and always have been at all courses taken with Mukti, and he knew I had no idea what I was doing or getting into...surrounded by yoga teachers and LMTS. However he took me under his wing, called me daughter, and embraced me with love and the willingness to guide me. He opened my heart to healing, searching for a better quality of life, and helped set me on a new path of wanting to give myself to others. I’ve always done it through food, but adding integrated asana just enhanced my being for clients. I went on to get my 200 RYT, slowly but surely working on my 150 Hr. senior practitioner under the Vedic Conservatory, and would like to become an LMT one day. After my time with Mukti, I became aware of how important what he does for the world truly is in this day and age. More importantly, how more important his teachings can be used by ANYONE. He truly embodies healing yourself, as well as others. If you have the chance to experience moments of his teachings, love, practice, humor and presence not only as an educator but who he is as a being, you will not regret the time spent. I adore and have the upmost respect for the VC and its founder. I could never thank our Mukti enough for what he has and continues to accomplish for us all. To summarize my teacher in the words of Rumi: “Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.”

-SarahJo Bridges; Student

Mukti is a wonderful embodiment of loving-kindness. When in his presence, his extensive experience and expertise seem to effortlessly radiate as he teaches through words, touch, and presence. I had the opportunity to spend 3 days with him, and within the first few hours I had already received so much deep insight into the art of Vedic Thai Massage, that the entire value of the trip was realized.

His wealth of knowledge is paralleled only by his compassion and patience. By the time I was done with the class, I felt not only prepared to begin taking the art into the world, but I had grown in ways I hadn't even yet understood.

In my thoughts of Mukti, it's hard to say whether I view him as more of a friend, a father, a teacher, student, sage, or an artist. He seems to be all of those things appropriately as the moment requires. One thing is for sure though, after spending time with him, you will be a happier, more confident, and more vibrant being.

As a healthcare professional who has been working with client's musculo-skeletal issues for over three decades I am not easily influenced by very many bodywork systems. With that said something must have happened when I began to study with Michael Buck at Vedic Conservatory. I've been back for five weekend workshops, three 7 day workshops and a month long trip to Thailand.

Color me impressed!

What a transformation weekend! I still feel in the clouds. Thank you so much to my teacher Mukti Michael Buck for this great gift that is so much more than I could have imagined. Thank you Elissa Lappostato and Julie Kang for bringing him to Nirvana! Thank you beautiful yogi friends, sisters, brothers who shared this experience along side me. Yogi friends, if you are interested in Vedic Thai Yoga Bodywork, please look to the Vedic Conservatory for training. Mukti Michael Buck is an inspirational, transformation teacher who shares the living, breathing, feeling spirit of this art form. His time, knowledge, and loving presence is a great gift I will forever cherish.

I first met Mukti early April of 2016, I wasn't really sure what I was signing up for, I had a few friends recommend his training's to me, before this first training with him I had only done some Thai yoga bodywork workshops in the Miami area just for fun. I figured this was going to be similar to what I had already experienced. This training was on a level of it's own, Mukti has so much love and passion for what he does that I felt right at home immediately. He is one of the most humble authentic people I have ever met. His knowledge with the human body and the way he explains the techniques make his training so interactive and fun, you can't help but to soak up what he is instilling in you. I never really thought a training can have such a powerful effect on me, but I can honestly say that Mukti has completely changed my life. The friendship we now share is pretty remarkable, as busy as his schedule is with traveling the world offering these training's, he always somehow finds the time to answer his calls, text and emails anytime you reach out to him. I even had personal struggles that I was dealing with, and he was there for me to offer advise and listen in my time of need. Who does this? I almost gave up hope that there was people like him even existing anymore. His ways of life are contagious, he has truly rubbed off on me and I find myself helping people more and more everyday, and when I sit back and think to myself how and why I'm doing it, it always comes back to something I heard him say or do in his training's that really inspire me to be a better person. If you have never tried one of his training's, I truly recommend attending one, even if you have absolutely no interest in bodywork or yoga, there is something incredible that you may walk away from after meeting him. Since meeting him, he made a trip all the way down to Homestead,Fla. where I recently opened a new yoga studio in a town everyone told me that a studio wouldn't work, I took a gamble anyways, told Mukti about my gamble and asked if he would be interested in offering his training in an area that would be no guarantee that people would attend since they have no clue what this training is. He came, a few people showed up to the training, no where near the amount he is used to seeing, but he taught the few that showed with just as much passion and love as if he was leading a crowed room. I thought for sure he would not return based on the numbers, but surprisingly enough, he is making a return mid May. If this doesn't tell you something incredible about his character, his love, and his passion, then I don't know what will.

So much gratitude for this fabulous 3 day workshop in the healing art of Vedic Thai Massage! Thank you Mukti Michael Buck for transmitting the essence of this beautiful healing art with your unique blend of so much  ease, grace, love and reverence mixed with risqué humour! I found the workshop healing on many levels and the physical complaint I had at the beginning is so much better now. So much gratitude to you and to our hosts and organisers Corinna Fisher and Amy Shine for bringing Mukti to Cork. I feel a bit bowled over at the moment, integrating all the goodness. So much packed into just a few days. And such a sense of community among all the participants too! I am very much looking forward to practicing and sharing this healing art and learning more. Sitting at the moment in a deep place, taking stock of the long journey, the difficult paths, the ups and downs, the teachers and teachings that have brought me to this point. I am indeed blessed.  So much love to you all. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Absolutely Fabulous weekend ! Us Corkonians have been blessed.

Thousands of body working enthusiasts have added the Vedic style to their massage techniques. "Mukti, thank you for your dedication to our massage crafts. It’s refreshing to be able to offer treatments without lubricants sometimes. Your methods are easy to follow and so comprehensive.

You are obviously in love with helping others and with massage."

-T.l.; Student

Mukti's course was not only enlightening and educational, it brought me to a new level of appreciation for the art of assisted asana and the power the hands (and feet) have over the body.

I was truly touched with the sincerity, silliness, and intelligence that Mukti holds and shares with each of his students. I felt a true connection with both Mukti himself as well as the others in my class after spending 24 hours learning, practicing, and discussing Thai Yoga Bodywork and the impact it can have over one's life. Thank you so much Mukti and I look forward to the next session!

-Alyssa Berman; Student

My introduction to Vedic Thai and to Mukti was quite unexpected, yet gracious. The invitation was nothing less than an initiation into the lineage of this beautiful ancient healing art by a master teacher. Mukti brings a clear vision and purpose to this work while creating an environment of community and a multidimensional exploration of transformation. Mukti embodies the essence of the work and its transmission. I am grateful for his guidance and compassion. If you are ready to liberate yourself and bring your work to a whole new level of possibility, I highly recommend Mukti and the path of Vedic Thai Yoga Bodywork.

I attended a phenomenal workshop Vedic Thai Yoga with the wonderful Mukti Michael Buck and a beautiful group last weekend. This amazing art works on so many levels(not just on the physical level but also an emotional level and even beyond that). Talking is not always required. We can transform through body work and yes our bodies are crying out for it. Who doesn't like a good old stretch? Of course it goes beyond a simple good old stretch but you get the idea. I love both to gift and receive body work and I'm so grateful to have found this art. If you're curious check out I'll definitely be signing up for more workshops.  Is there something you'd like to change or let go of? Is now the time?

“I feel like a different person. I am very fortunate to have attended your class. I learned how to better connect myself with my environment as well as boost my confidence. I will forever be touched by this life changing experience.”

- Victoria Jimeney; Student

Following the rule “you can talk about your own experience only”, I’d like to share my impressions.

A week before the workshop, November 29th, the beginning of working out the details and of restructuring – the inner devils of some people and drunky monkeys of the others apprehend the “purge” and start their crazy “dance”.

As for me, these things were expressed by strange humor, sarcasm, irony, nervous laughing and blurred mind. The acceptance and the tracking of these feelings, the acceptance of this condition and loving and understanding people as well saved me from making the mess of things.

We were learning the art, the confidence, we were practicing and reinforcing our connection – because the art of ViTaY that united us – made the Family of all us.

These meetings, this atmosphere make us live the feeling from Bible - “We are all sisters and brothers”.

During this time, we don’t work with our bodies and our movements only – Souls touch each other through Bodies, Ego disappears, fullness and purification happen.

ViTaY for me is the art of Life, the interaction and the awareness of being, it’s learning and accepting, pure love and happiness.

I'm grateful to every Person for his or her concern and un_concern for my path here.

I'm grateful for the possibility to practice this silent art, for the intuitive contact and for the support, Swami!

Our future parents have learned some techniques of Vedic Thai massage, as applied to the state of pregnancy. No words so far. This must be experienced. Just ecstasy, filling and happiness!

-Natalia Kotlar; Center of Future parents " Our Stork"; Owner/Director

The Centre for Yoga and Massage 'Shantaram' is so glad to have Serafima coming  to our center for three time and making Vedic Thai Yoga Bodywork courses here.  Each time, Serafima gives an in-depth study of massage practice and a well-structured theory! She could  cover a large volume of material while the atmosphere during training is kept very warm and friendly! Feels confident and flow from teacher to student, which she continues giving knowledge of Vedic Thai Massage Yoga to people! We found wonderful manuals that she used for VTYB course, she could translated it into Russian and put her own experience inside of it. Each time you want to come back and learn with her. Thank you from the bottom of the heart, for teaching the art of VTYB, for maintaining communication with the teacher - Mukti!

As a yogi and director of a massage & bodywork school, I have taken many workshops in the healing arts.  All have taught me something but the Vedic Thai Yoga Bodywork class that Mukti brought to our school blew me away!  I have known Mukti for 18 years, as a yogi, a friend and a healer. But being in class with him was quite simply, beyond what I imagined it could be. He brings such mastery and wisdom into his teachings.  He allows all students to learn in a way that is supportive, positive and very loving.  He is professional but profound. He gently invites people to have fun while expanding in their consciousness and their ability to meaningfully connect with others.  I found the entire program to be transformational, interesting, sacred, practical, and uplifting. I can't wait for him to come back next year!

The first time I saw Sudevi was on a flyer at Yogaville. Her ethereal beauty shines as a beacon of light. I knew immediately I wanted to meet her and take her Thai Yoga Massage Workshop at Yogaville. When I met her she was just like her picture, a gentle, serene, empathetic care-giver. She opened the class with the Gayatri mantra and it was as though all the devas of the universe appeared. She inspired me to go on to become a Thai Yoga Therapist. I traveled with her to Thailand to study abroad and now own Lotus Pilates & Thai Yoga Studio in Richmond, Virginia. Sudevi has also taught me ancient Vedic traditions and reiki. When I decided to learn reiki I traveled to her workshop in Pensacola, Florida as I knew she imparts much more than spoken and learned knowledge. Sudevi passes on a lineage of training that opens portals into the great art of healing. Thank you.

Sudevi never fails to inspire me and remind me of what my bodywork practice is all about. Underlying all of the stretching and the compressing, there is that quiet, deeply divine thing. This is truly sacred work and these trainings remind me of that.

Sunday was not only the high point of the Festival for me, I would have to say it was one of the high points of my entire massage career. I took a class in Thai on the Table from Mukti Michael Buck. It was the best hands-on class I have ever attended, and I have attended hundreds of hours of continuing education. Mukti is undoubtedly the most charismatic teacher on the planet. The bodywork was sensational. The whole class was in such a state of gratitude at the end of it, we were one big melting pot of thankfulness and grace. I would recommend it to anyone.
